PARTY PIZZA (or Hanky Pankies)

Ingredients:
1-1 # loaf light party rye
1# roll sausage (hot) - browned and drained
½ onion, chopped and cooked with sausage
1 pound box  processed cheese (Velveeta)
(sometimes I use the white queso processed with with jalapenos)
1 T. Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. oregano
Dash garlic salt

Put sausage in large pan with about 1 cup of water.  Start mashing the sausage with a fork as it starts to cook. The water helps tenderize as well as makes it easier to mash into smaller pieces.

Add onion, worchestershire sauce, oregano and garlic salt.  Mix well.

After sausage and onion are cooked, tender, and drained, add the cut up cheese into pan, allow to sit a while, turn down heat and stir until melted.

 Spread on party bread slices.

Place on cookie sheet and cook  at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Take out and serve hot. (This also can be made ahead, frozen or refrigerated and baked when needed).

You can get 45 pizzas out of one loaf.
